This is hands down THE BEST bak chang you will ever find in Singapore. There is nothing else that comes even close to the amazing taste of Hoo Kee’s Bak Chang. Just go straight to the Deluxe All-In version for the best tasting dumpling!

The design of the place is nice. The taste of the bak zhang is good, fillings are good, not stingy. For the price, it's worth paying.

Bought tdy. Served by 2 senior ladies. The outlook of the shop is v nostalgic n traditional type. Bought the "green" type. Was delighted when i saw the fillings inside. Worth my trip n definitely the price. Ingredients was of the right amount in ratio to the rice. Some bak zhangs too much rice n little fillings. Hoo Kee uses lean meat which I liked. Taste was just right. Strong fragrant bak zhang smell once I pry open it 😊. Thank you for carrying on the tradition and selling the bak zhang at an economically reasonably price in midst of the economy where everything prices shot up.

One of the best bakchang i’ve ever had. You can tell that it was made from high quality ingredients; salted egg yolk was creamy and umami, it balanced the pork and sweet chestnut well. The glutinous rice wasnt mushy and had a chew to it like it was supposed to. The pork was meaty without any fats. I would go back for more 👍

Bought their $5.50 Deluxe all In Bak Chang. It comes with braised pork, mushrooms, chestnuts and salted egg yolk. The rice tastes fragrant from pre frying before the wrap. Very generous with the ingredients inside with 4 chestnuts and 4 pieces of mushrooms. The latter was very a delight to chew on. The pork they used were mainly lean meat, unlike others who use fatter cuts. Very good Bak Chang even though I kept it overnight in the fridge and steamed it for breakfast the next day.
